Chatting in #terrafusion: Shambler = Me Killes = Metal fanatic and general pain in the arse Vondur = Ex-metal fanatic being converted to jungle fanatic ... well vond is under the delusion that soethign becomign trndy has to ruin it kidding :) well killes no that depends on what the artists do this is only for black metal, because bm was a special thing like with jungle, roni size and goldie have been popular and got into the charts for god's sake vondur i said i was kidding but jungle itself has not got all poppy and charty, in fact it's got a lot harder since then maybe a reaction, maybe not yes, dnb is not for average ear actually yeah at the moment von....apart from mellow stuff like bukem.... but i think jungle is getting too hard in general yea i hope it will get a bit mellower and slower as it's unbalanced towards hard stuff more aggressive i mean i like hard stuff lots, but i don't like a whole scene focused on it as i don't think a dance music scene can be sustained like that it will be interesting to see where drum'n'bass goes.... well, the good example of dnb future is bad company i think but that's still hard and dark though! yes hmmm and i think it will be harder with time and darker and then what von? it's gonna frighten ppl away hmm hehe the harder a scene gets, the smaller it gets dunno "frghten people away" so what shamb yes scenes like metal manage to sustain even the ones like blackmetal hmmmm maybe it will just become a small hard scene like gabber used to be... shamb, small scenes are better way better killes the thing is that drum'n'bass is giving little choice at the moment Shambler, there will be various styles of dnb from old ganjakru's cute dnb to hard techstep i think it's either hard or very mellow yeah von but most of it is focused on the hard with, like, little balance between hard and soft well, maybe i mean the gap between Ram (typical hard) and Bukem (typical soft) is getting larger ok what is good hard nasty dirty dnb ? if i wnted to get some exactly shamb.. panacea!!! what bands wud that be ok which album ? panacea, panacea and more panacea bad company! position chrome retrospective (position chrome records) why dos the records name matter i never understand why u always mention whoever is distributing it so you can find/order it easier oh ok von: yeah but that's a weirdly skewed scene it's like a metal scene that consists of bands like bon jovi and then bands like emperor, with nothing in between hehehehe i also think if a scene focuses on hard stuff it will disappear up it's own arse quicker yes if you start from middle ground there are more directions and options to explore musically, but if you start with hard stuff there are less options exactly i mean like jungle 2-3 years ago, was kinda a middle ground....and most of it got harder, but it's backing itself into a 2step techstep corner advatage of being more concentrated well yeah killes it certainly wrings all the possibilites out of the harder end of the spektrum.... ...
