Okay d00ds a bit of a c0ck-up there, obviously since these are leaked shots the security of the sites and address of the shots are not guaranteed. Apparently there was some h4x0ring and that link ended going to some revolting pornography site, my apologies for not checking it sooner. MillionSuns, I believe there is a feedback page at the original site where you can register your complaint and maybe convince the people to close their filthy site down. Anyway I've edited the link to go to the new screenshots' location, assuming that site stays up. A copy of my letter to Ion, PDK, Telefragged, and other sites: Hello, I purchased Daikatana and enjoyed visiting the forums at Planet Daikatana. The site has maintained a sense of community for quite awhile, and the majority of posts there have been quite helpful for both newcomers and veterans of the game. Today I clicked on Shambler's "Daikatana 2 screenshots here" post, and it was actually a link to a horrid photograph of male mutilation/homosexual pornography. Apparently, Mr. Shambler thinks it is humorous to misdirect total strangers to such a photograph. What a person chooses to view in private is one thing, but even the thought that deceiving others into viewing it along with them is "funny" is an important psychological issue that might well require professional help. Is it "funny" to think that children could have clicked that link? Apparently, Mr. Shambler couldn't care less for anyone but himself. Posting a link to a pornographic site on a game forum is a violation of the rights of anyone seeking information on the game. Not only did Shambler make a failed attempt at a disclaimer, but he lied about it as well, ending the post with, "apparently someone feels humorous today." Yeah, right. Regardless of whether or not my attempts are futile, I will contact whatever isp or internet counsel I can drum up and send them a copy of the thread. I will also do whatever I can to make Mr. Shambler's mindset known to anyone with an iota of self-respect or character. One hardly expects consistency of character from the millions of people on the internet, but one should be able to expect gaming information, rather than photographs of male mutilation, on a gaming forum. PST PlanetDaikatana is in no way affiliated with ION Storm. While it's regrettable that someone posted something offensive here, this website had that offending link removed the second we found out about it. Expecting anything other than that is not realistic.

Just wondering is all, because if no one had written anything about it , that link could've been there awhile, even if it were a April Fools joke, it was very disgusting. | |||

PST No, we don't check each other's forum posts before posting. Yes Shambler is part of the PlanetDaikatana team. No, we are not responsible for his actions, and neither is he responsible for ours. That post was changed immediately after I logged onto the internet and saw it. Yes it might have been there for a while if I hadn't seen it.

PST Woah Whoah Whoah.... Lets calm down a bit and look at what has really gone on.. I have two children one aged 4 the other 5 and I try dam hard as a parent to protect them from that type of filth... I'm not saying because of how fragile the DK community is, it gives people license to say or do what they like and Million Suns I have to give it to you... you spoke your mind and you are sticking to your guns.... but the problem has been rectified.. I think you pointing out publicly on the forum that it was a bad idea was sufficient enough a threat to Mr S to make him change his mind ...and hopefully he won't do it again.. Once again I'm not making excuses but who doesn't make mistakes ...in a sudden fit of free thought an idea may seem good but only serves to offend... :( I beg you Gwog just delete this whole topic...lets all look back and say god that was shit...lol Please peeps no more sick sick shit....and that was sick....but as they say...seemed like a laugh at the time.. PST good idea, I'll delete this once Shambler's seen it. And there were never any Daikatana2 screens, even though in a small way you could probably look to Rune to see what, in a lot of ways, it would have looked like.
