Jago of his maps, i've only played the sp maps i'd say Dnspu3, though he prefers 4 why are there so many unreal-related pages that look better than quake related pages? that's weird xori: because unreal is so spine tingling lovely, it inspires ppl to make nice pages?? or perhaps because it's a newer game, so the sites were made recently when more ppl have html skillz, rather than older quake sites?? Well it's not the html just the graphics those maps are OK looking not too shabby are they fun ? yes good solid gameplay that must be why you like his maps are characterised by good build quality and fairly nice styles, with solid gameplay, but they lack the splendour and innovation of some unreal maps ahah actually xori, for unreal i don't place as much emphasis on combat I should make an unreal map all splendor no gameplay j/k :) no that would be very cool no I mean all splendor and no gameplay it was a joke I imagine my map would look sweet and play like shit cuz i have NEVER played unreal for more than an hour shit is relative ;) and it's different in unreal shambler: I probably won't map for unreal because it sucks on OGL. I'll have to wait for UT UT will be sweet shambler: making shit look good is just making shit look good... in unreal, q1, q3a, hl, q2, whatever, as far as i am concerned look at Harobed Village for example, you fight like 5 big monsters and 5 mosquitoes, that's all, but its still a great level because it's really inspiring and impressive no, i mean shit gameplay is relative shambler: ohh shambler; I see. what is shit for quake is not necessarily shit for unreal shambler: yeah but Unreal is more of a fantasy reality type game as far as i can tell ummm, meaning?? shambler: there are more reasonable amounts of monsters shambler: some levels with no monsters shambler: the monster placements make sense yes, exactly shambler; monster builds are relative to stupidity which means, you don;t always get hardcore combat like the titans are hella easy to kill if you hide behind those houses, but if you get in their way, you are toast hella easy?? shut it cartman =0 Shambler: well... hmm. am I thinking of the entrance to sunspire or harbored village hmmm :/ I forgot I stopped on sunspire * TEAMShambler 's feet are producing some really entertaining smells on the outside it was beautiful i meant "hella" n/m but on the inside it got straight boring yes# i agree the inside of sunspire sucked too repetitive i never finished the game the outside and top rocked i got too lost you missed the best bits after the sunspire, it's excellent the mercenary's ship was amazing dude THAT was beautiful inside and outside Na Pali Haven, Bluff Eversmoking, Nali Castle....awesome levels yes that's a hard thing about making DM maps dude, it has to be all of similar style, yet, must not be repetative. that is gonna be one AWSOME Thing about sp maps dimensions dont matter yes and it can jump from style to style as long as it fits the storyline I really dont enjoy castle maps for some reason :/ yeah xori, you can really go to town with sp maps....anything as long as it's cool and fits in shambler: yep. wow * TEAMShambler is actually having a civil conversation amazing ...
